The president of Southern Food and Snacks said more should be coming in the years to come
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - We're getting ready to add a new production line here soon," said Kermit Highfield in Louisville KY. Two new companies are bringing their business and new jobs to Louisville. On Monday, Mayor Greg Fischer announced The Curehouse, a new meat curing company that focuses on local foods, will be taking over the former Salvation Army location on Old Fern Valley Road. He also said Preston Farms Popcorn Company has moved from its former location in Palmyra to the Park Hill area.
Between the two of them, the city said 61 jobs and $5.3 million in investments would be coming to the area. The president of Preston Farms said more should be coming in the years to come. Where we are, we have the capability to expand and grow that line. We know we're going to grow. We're growing as we speak."
